Challenges in Windows 8

Before 25 years, Microsoft has released the first version of Windows. After that, so much of products has been released by Microsoft. Microsoft made Billgates as the first richest man in the world for so many years. Microsoft have a practise of releasing thier products or next version at regular intervals. The last release from Microsoft in Operating System is, Windows 7. It was launched in October 2009. The next operating system is going to launch is Windows 8, it is expected to be release on October 2012.

The first version in Windows released with Navy Blur color which indicates Microsoft logo. After few version Windows have a following logo. The same used in Windows 7 and its going to be used in Windows 8 also.

Few of the Windows versions are following: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 server, Windows NT, Windows XP, Windows Vista and the last version is Windows 7. Among these many Operating Systems, the Windows XP is useing widely, its nearly 60%. The remaining Windows Operating System used in 20% and remaining 20% is Other Operating Systems. Now we will look at the Windows 8. Its also called Windows 8 xTreme.

The expected features and challenges on Windows 8 are following:

Features :

* Capability to handle all type of hardware capabilities.
* Take less time to booting and shutdown process.
* Compatability to support for iPhones, smartphones and so on.
* Able to support Cloud based Operating System with backup utility.
* Able to provide in Virtualization environment.
* Upgraded of All Windows Applications.
* Able to support 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems.
* More Privacy and more Security.
* A new version of Internet Explorer.

The worl is going into Virtualization and cloud computing. Of course, there may be chances are there for people to go virtualization and cloud computing. So Microsoft is taken the steps for making cloud based Operating System and it also support for Virtualization. If the booting time and shutdown time is comes to less, they need to make more attention on this process, it should not make any performance and memory issue.

Also there are some other topic discussin in the world, there are few more interesting is going to happening in the next version of Windows. They are,
* May have voice recogintion.
* May support 3D Technology.
* Login by Face recogintion.
* Windows Live Messanger

There is no official word from Microsoft, these are the features will be available in Windows 8. They are making secret of the features of Windows 8, its not open source. But, one of the Microsoft guy said, the systems in 2012 have camera in-built. So we can assume, the login process by facial recogination may come in the next version of Windows.

The Challenges of Windows 8 and Microsft is following :

* There are few other best OS used in industry such as Android, Linux and so on. Windows 8 need to make it powerful to competite with this OS.
* Windows having so much experience, but recently their products are not reached and stayed in industry. For Example, IE, samrtphones.
* How windows 8 OS is going to use in the phones, ipods and remaining platforms.
* Migration from Previous version of Windows to New version.
* Apart from above, the leadership and skills of Steve Ballmer and Windows without Billgates.
